The Criticism And Talking

Learning to deal with the fact of people talking behind your back.

Its true there is always somebody out there that has something to say about you, whether it be to your face or behind your back. Sometimes nice and sometimes bad but no matter what you have to learn to cope with it. It may not always be true what they say but they don't care whether it is or not they just gonna say what they heard.

My experience..

When I decided that I didn't want to go to school everybody had there opinion, family and friends. Some of them said " You are making a big mistake" others said " If it makes you happy, then do it". Sometimes it was to my face, other times behind my back. Once I had left peoples opinions obviously got stronger. The people I thought were my friends started making rumours of why I left and most of them turned against me or stopped talking to me or didn't want anything to do with me, but that was their choice I couldn't do anything about that. Some of my family would talk about me when I wasn't around or complain to my parents but it really had nothing to do with them it was between me and my parents. None of them ever cared when I was at school and being bullied but when I did something about it that didn't suit them they cared. I have days when I wish I had someone to talk to (true friends) or someone to hang with but that was one of the consequences of me leaving and so I'm dealing with it. There are times when I hear rumours about me but I know they are not true and if people really knew me they would to but they just go by what others say.

My point is ......

If you hear people talking about you or you hear a rumour that has been spreading around simple just say its not true as long as you know it isn't and your true friends and family know it isn't then that rumour is just a waste of time. You shouldn't worry about what others think about you, the only thing that matters is what you think. Don't take rumours to heart, just think about it those people are like paparazzi and your like the superstar they find you interesting to talk about because you are important enough.
